The latest in Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid Technology
Check out the eco-friendly Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid Technology at the heart of Ford CMAX. The combination of photo-real still images and CGI takes you beneath the skin and demonstrates the features that help CMAX achieve awesome fuel economy without sacrficing performance. We partnered with Big Block LA for the design and execution of both the Ford CMAX Powertrain and Interior Animations. These 2 animations were centerpieces of our CMAX launch efforts on Ford.com and on social media. The Big Block team did an awesome job creating the roundabout environment featured in the CMAX Powertrain Animation. And, it served as the perfect environment to showcase both the CMAX Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid vehicles. The team shot a series of still images at an actual roundabout location in southern California that then served as key frames for rendering and retouching the full CGI environment. The results are photo-real animations that reflect the CMAX brand image, and demonstrate its advanced technologies in a believable, real world setting.

Stop Fumbling for Your Keys
The creative team at Ntropic, LA helped us demonstrate that loading cargo or groceries is a heck of a lot easier with the Foot Activated Liftgate feature in Ford CMAX. Watch the technology come to life in this animation combining live action background plates and talent shot in Seattle, WA., with seamless CGI rendering of the CMAX Hybrid vehicle into the live action scenes. The result is a nice clean feature animation that was part of the CMAX Launch Campaign, and one that we leveraged for other Ford vehicles with the Foot Activated Liftgate feature.
